Christine Snelgrove

CEO & Owner

I’m Christine the owner, head trainer, and founder of Bauser’s Pet Training.

I am a Certified Accredited Pet Trainer, Certified Trick Dog Instructor, and have my PetTech CPR & First AID Certificate of completion.

I am an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator and instructor, a Professional with the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), a Professional with the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), and a mentor for Animal Behavior College (ABC).

As the owner, I have been involved with canines for many years. I utilize various training modalities in my work with dogs of all ages and sizes while instructing owners too. I am experienced in obedience at all levels, behavior, back yard agility, and tricks as well as working equally well with passive and aggressive dogs. Training is based on positive reinforcement using Least Intrusive and Minimally Aversive (LIMA) style training in group and private sessions.

Cindy Carlson

Co-Owner & Assistant Trainer

Hi. I’m Cindy the co-owner, and Assistant Trainer of Bauser’s Pet Training. I have learned to train dogs, hands on, with Christine over the past 8 years in obedience at all levels, back yard agility, Rally-Obedience, and Tricks. I have my PetTech CPR & First AID Certificate of completion. Cats are my first love and through that I have grown to love dogs just as well. Cats need enrichment just as much as our canine friends. Keep a look out for our Feline Training classes. I have learned a lot about animal learning theory and how to train dogs and cats using positive training methods. The training is based on positive reinforcement using Least Intrusive and Minimally Aversive (LIMA) style training in group and private sessions.

Lauren “LJ” J.

Pet Trainer

I’m Lauren, although you may often hear me go by “LJ”. I am a head trainer at Bauser’s Pet Training.

I’ve gravitated toward animals my whole life, but picked up a passion for dog training when I got my first service dog at 15 years old. I’ve developed a science-based training approach, and I view every dog as an individual before assessing what works and what doesn’t for that individual’s needs to craft the perfect training plan for each dog.

While I do pet/obedience training, group classes, tricks, and all the like, my true passion is raising and teaching task-trained service dogs to aid people with disabilities. I’m a big advocate for working dogs and their handlers.

I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen certified evaluator, and working towards my IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) and CPCFT (Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer) certifications.

My journey with dogs started with love-and grew into a purpose. As a trainer, I’m passionate about helping others build life-changing partnerships with their service dogs.

I specialize in service dog foundations, task work, and trick training-because a strong bond isn’t just built through work, but through play and connection, too. I believe training should be empowering, uplifting, and tailored to each unique team.

Whether you’re preparing your dog for service work or looking to strengthen your bond, I’m here to walk beside you-one paw at a time.

Meet Jessica J

Hello, my name is Jessica but most call me either Jessi, Jess, or JJ. Since at a very young age, I have always had such passion/love for all types of animals especially dogs. I grew up on a farm and as I grew older all I ever wanted to do was study animals or to become a vet tech to help every animal in need as well as give them the perfect home. That’s when I soon realized that this is something I see myself doing for the rest of my life!

Over at Bauser’s Pet Training, I have the opportunity to help socialize dogs and meet their needs while encouraging their lives. Not only do I enrich their lives, but I also prioritize building confidence with the dogs so that they are fully confident with themselves in daily life situations.
